Teaching
Courses taught by the lab at Chung-Ang University.
How emotion and cognition shape experience in games, animation, and interactive media: affect theory, measurement of emotional and cognitive states, and the design of interactive systems that respond to them.
Technical production for visual work: building and running a production pipeline, from asset creation and rigging to rendering and delivery.
Design and production of 3D content, covering modeling, animation, and real-time engines as tools for both creative work and experimental stimuli.
Individual research supervision: framing a research question, designing a study or a production plan, and carrying it through to a written or exhibited outcome.
Emotion in games, from appraisal and agency to embodiment: how player affect is elicited, measured, and used to adapt gameplay, with readings from affective computing and game studies.
Rapid prototyping of playable and interactive work: turning a concept into a testable prototype, then into evidence about how people play it.
